It is the ex-students' body bent on serving the people in trouble. A considerable amount is spent per year for helping the present and past students and also students of the locality. People seeking medical help are entertained. Monetary help is given to the Bhavana workers at the time of their retirement. The college is proud of its staff both teaching and non-teaching. It is prouder still of its brave students. The Mahavidyalaya Praktani makes an attempt to foster a brotherly feeling among them all, too. The Mahavidyalaya Praktani organises biennial Re-Union which falls on December 25 of every odd years like 2001, 2003 and so on. The past students are heartily welcome to their Alma Mater every alternate years.

The members of the Executive Committee request all former students to become Life Members of the Mahavidyalaya Praktani by paying Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred only) each. The money could be sent to the Secretary, Mahavidyalaya Praktani,  by crossed cheques or drafts in favour of "Mahavidyalaya Praktani" payable at any bank in Calcutta . The present communication address and the year of passing (if possible) of the sender should be clearly mentioned while sending the subscription for the Mahavidyalaya Praktani.

 

Ramakrishna Mission Residential College at Narendrapur is conducting a number of education related developmental activities. The College makes an appeal to all its alumni to contribute generously for this purpose.

The college has been offering nearly free education and several other facilities to a large number of students from the less privileged class, for several years. It will welcome support from all those who would like to participate in this good work of expansion of education. Financial assistance in the form of scholarships is given to poor and meritorious students. Around 225 students enjoyed such scholarships during the year. Persons who wish to help them are cordially invited to contribute to the General Fund. Memorial Scholarships have been instituted to perpetuate the memories of Swami Lokeswaranandaji Maharaj, Prof. Pratul Chandra Rakshit. We appeal to you to contribute generously to all these funds.

Payments may be made by crossed cheques or Demand Drafts drawn in favour of " R.K.M.A. College Students' Home" on any scheduled bank in Calcutta . Donations are exempt from Income Tax under 80G of IT Act, 1961.
